This morning at 5 a.m. (yes,
a.m.) Lucas rolled over from his tummy to his back for the first time. I was standing by his crib, secretly hoping that he would wake up so that I could bring him into bed with us, when he stuck his little bottom in the air and kicked over onto his back. I was so happy for him that I picked him up and did a little happy dance with him before bringing him to bed with us. Yay Lucas!

Kelly, I had just rocked him to sleep and laid him in the bed...but of course as soon as I put him down he started squirming. Instead of starting over with the rocking, I wanted him to wake up enough to justify picking him up and going to our bed :-)
