We went in for our 2nd trimester ultrasound today and were very surprised to learn that we are having a little girl!!! Jeff and I are still in shock - we just knew we were having a boy and are so used to Lucas that the idea of a baby girl seems strange... but we're very excited! And more importantly, of course, she is healthy. They said she weighed 5 oz and her h/b was 144. I think that is on the low range, so hopefully she'll be laid back like her daddy : )

I've been thinking of you all day wondering what your big news would be! I just yelled out loud and now Katie is running around saying "Shanna is having a girl! Shanna is having a girl!" We are ALL very excited for the Schroeders!!

yay, another girl! boys were the majority the first round, but it looks like girls may take it in round 2! ;) they are definitely different, and definitely just as special! we look forward to meeting her! :)
