Lucas does one of two things when he gets home now - requests to watch Monsters, Inc. or plays in his playroom. He is such a fan of Pixar movies. First it was Nemo, then Ratatouille (which he calls Racoons) and now it's Monsters. It's so fun to snuggle with him on the couch and watch a movie. I especially like it when all five of us manage to make it on the couch to snuggle. Anyway, when we're sick of the t.v. or think he's had enough, we redirect him upstairs. Last week we moved the furniture/toys around in the playroom to make better use of the space. Initially we had everything up against the walls, but now we have created a little space in each corner by putting the furniture/toys in the middle of the room. Hard to explain, but anyway, here is the art corner. Lucas and I had fun making the sign for the wall. I drew the letter on the paper and he cut it out while I held the paper still for him. I love the way he cuts. He puts the scissors in his right hand, makes a cut, and then uses his left hand to open the scissors up again.
