# 27 on the list, in case you don't know, is "If your mommy and daddy won't let you pee out of a 2nd story window."
Jeff and I were downstairs when we heard a very pissy scream coming from upstairs. When we got to the guest bedroom we saw this:
Naked Lucas was so mad because he couldn't get the window open to pee out of it! He was sobbing, "I want to pee out the window!" We tried to reason with him. There were words like civilized and unsanitary used, but we didn't stand a chance. You see, lately when Sir Lucas gets tired, he has been known to lose control and become totally unreasonable. Luckily we know this and were able to laugh it off and let him get it out of his system. I also think that he knows it because when I picked him up he relaxed into me and allowed me to rock him to sleep.
Sigh.... I'm sure we'll laugh at our intense little Lucas one day. Actually, we're learning to do it now.
All kidding aside, Lucas is excellent 99% of the time these days. He's at the age where we're not sure if he needs a nap or not. About a month ago we went through a phase where he wasn't the least bit tired until 10:30pm. Jeff and I were exhausted all of the time! Lucas was taking 2+ hour naps at school and just wasn't tired at night. On the wknds, however, he'd not be the least bit tired during the day and would go to sleep at 8pm. Now it seems that he needs a nap, just not a 2 hour one. Anyway, we're figuring out this stage and once we do I'm sure it will change...

That is awesome! Remember when KLC went into the backyard to "pee like a dog" in May 2008? Classic. If you don't remember, go back and see that blog entry. We didn't stop her since we didn't really think she would do it since it was cold and rainy. But she did. It was a turning point in her potty training. From that point on, she felt empowered.
