Our summer days afternoons at the pool have been so much fun, but they haven't gotten harder as Ellen has gotten more mobile. In May when the pools opened, I would wear her on my chest in the water and she'd often take a long nap. Now she is on the go. She likes the water, but doesn't love the baby float for long, so I have to hold her as she squirms to get down. I sometimes let her crawl around on the pavement, but it is often hot or she tries to put everything into her mouth. So this is my view a lot of the time... Lucas full speed ahead and Ellen wanting to be right there with him!
