Then the kids were tested on their skills. There were four stations. The first was a trash toss to test if they knew where to put their trash, but also to test their accuracy.
The second station was to test their balance. They had to walk on that little yellow line that you see in the picture above. The third station was a game of chase and racing to test their speed. This was kind of funny. My friend Marie, also my photographer for the day, helped me with these games... so there are no pictures. It was a great game of tag, but you had to stay in the circle. Well the first thing they did was run right of the circle. Marie and I tried to get them back, but decided to move on to just running in a straight line. Not too hard, right? So we had them form two lines and told them that on the count of three the first person in each line would run to the caterpillar. So I said 1,2,3 go... and all 11 of them sprinted away. It was so funny : )
