My parents got here yesterday. It is so much fun having family in town now because Lucas and Ellen love them and enjoy them so much! We are having a great time. Today we baked my mom's famous chocolate chip cookies (double the white sugar and omit the brown sugar), rice krispy treats and chocolate pecan turtles. The kids helped and there was the feeling of Christmas in the air. During Ellen's nap my dad took Lucas to see Yogi Bear. Lucas loves movies and I think it was great bonding time for both of them. Lucas also loved that my dad cheated and got them a large popcorn!
