I'm going to stop comparing Lucas's reading skills to that of his peers that are not the first born, because it's becoming obvious how much exposure the 2nd child gets to letters and numbers! Anytime we are practicing with Lucas, Ellen is right up in there trying to get her share of the attention : ) Combine the exposure with the fact that she's a girl, which usually learn faster, and I bet she'll know how to read before she goes to Kindergarten.
Her favorite letter is "E." She calls it "her name." She wrote it for the first time today! Check it out... not bad, little lady. Her's is on the right side of the screen. Her name will actually be pretty easy to write... E-L-L-E-N.
