Hilarious story. This was the lobby of the lodge where we had lunch. Ellen told us on the way in that these bears were fake and didn't pay much attention to them. On the way out I wanted to take a picture of the kids by the fake bear. So Lucas gets in position and I tell Ellen to go on up there. Well here head is about the same height as the bears hands. She climbs up to position herself on the left side of the bear, and when she stands up from a crouched position her head hits the bears hand. Not hard, she just felt the bear touch her and forgot that it was a fake bear. She screamed such a blood piercing scream that the place went silent and all eyes were on her. I had to grab and her run outside to console here. Poor baby! She thought the bear had come to life and touched her head : )

Then, 5 minutes later, we did see a live bear. Ellen thought it was adorable. She had moved on from her traumatic experience.

This bear appeared to be begging for food by standing on his hind legs and sticking out his tongue.
