We took advantage of the free hotel breakfast and then just had to take a swim before checking out. We told them kids all week that one of the things we'd do on our trip was go swimming...
Finally, we were at Grandf*ther Mountain! This was the weather I had dreamed about. 70 degrees with a storm brewing, so a nice breeze for our hike to the top (we didn't start at the bottom!)
We pushed Ellen a little too hard. She didn't get enough sleep and it was her 2nd day w/out a nap, so she was cranky and had to be bribed with a binky to ride in the baby carrier.
