The invite asked the guests to wear blue if they wanted to.  Karis was the first to arrive in the exact colors of the party. 

So our lady is not much of a party girl.  Unlike her brother who has been planning his 6th birthday party since the afternoon of his 5th birthday party, Ellen doesn't seem to like all of the fuss over her.  After she and Karis checked out all of the birthday decorations, I found her lying on the couch with her binky!  The entire party was outside, so she was inside by herself.  I loved on her a bit and carried her back outside, and then she enjoyed the rest of the party.  It was like she needed an extra binky charge to get geared up for the party... and she can only have her binky if she's sleeping (usually in the bed).  Also, I wonder if the big boys maybe intimidated her.  While the younger kids were still arriving, Lucas, Blane and Lucas E. were dominating the big jumpy house.  Ellen didn't say anything about it, or even seem to care, but that may have had something to do with it.
