Not what we expected, but nice to have some time alone anyway. Jeff and I escaped to a nearby farm this weekend. A goat farm with a B&B. Karen stayed with the kids for 24 hours and they did great for her. Didn't ask about us once, went to bed easily and were really good for her! She said they got up at 5am, but that wasn't that bad. The little stinkers didn't even run to us and hug us when we got home! I really missed them though!
