Three Months Old!

Lucas turned three months old on the 4th. A lot of people said that three months would be a milestone, and it's amazing how true that has been for Lucas. We have seen him change right before our eyes over the past week or so. He has just shared his first laugh with us, he rolled over for the first time yesterday, he has a new fake cough, he has a new panting thing that he does when he's frustrated, he grasps toys if you put them in his hands, and he just seems more content. Jeff and I both think that he looks so big, and definitely looks more like a wiggly, little baby, and not an infant. Perhaps this growth spurt (mommy diagnosed) explains why he was cranky a couple of weeks ago.

I fall more in love with this little guy everyday, and I won't speak for Jeff, but I think he feels the same way. We can both tell now that he knows that we're his mom and dad, and are almost certain to get a big grin if we want one. It's hard to believe that we're one quarter through his first year, but each stage is better than the previous, so I think we have a lot to look forward to.
