We have been waiting for this day for weeks and it's finally here! Hooray! There was a lot of excitement in the air this morning : ) And a LOT of work to do (yikes). First, we got busy making the cupcakes. And of course I had two of the best helpers for this project. Next we had to finish making the light sabers, which ended up being so awesome - made out of pool noodles and duct tape. And finally we had to decorate. To do this last task we had to make some lego props out of boxes (recycling - yeah!). I also had two great helpers for this project : ) I mean, why do any of this stuff earlier when you can wait until the morning of the birthday party to do it? It added to the excitement. We were all business. No time for wiping faces.
