Since our visit with Mom in June didn't go as we planned it, we wanted to go back and spend a lot of time hanging out with Mom. We didn't really make any other plans. And it was GREAT! I felt relaxed at the end of the wknd, which is unusual for me and vacations (with two kids).
We got a good deal on flights, so we took advantage. I didn't want to drive 8 hours both ways two times in one summer! Besides, it was an adventure! Complete with airport snacks : )
