I just rocked Lucas to sleep. There was one moment when I looked at him, where the moonlight was hitting his face in just the right way, that I knew I was holding an angel in my arms. I keep telling myself that this is life. These are the good days. Live in the moment. I've always been a worrier and have spent a lot of time living in the future. Lucas has taught me in one year what all of the Dale Carnegie and Chicken Soup for the Soul books couldn't come close to teaching me. Thank you Lucas! Mommy loves you.
