We are checking "find a pediatrician" off of our list of baby to-do's. Yesterday after work we had an open house type meeting with a group practice. We were both happy with the two doctors that we met with and what they told us about the rest of their practice. We went in with a list of questions, but the little binder they gave us, along with their introductions, answered nearly all of them. I guess they have seen the list of questions on the internet.
They told us that the hospital will call them when our baby is born so that they know to come and check him out. We asked how we "sign up" with them so that they are expecting the call. Their response was that we don't have to do anything until the baby is born and the hospital initiates everything. Kind of funny that they just get surprise calls everyday that they have a new customer.
Tomorrow we have our 2nd appointment with the new midwife practice and our 8th Bradley Class.
